Grotesque ornament designs surrounding personifications of the four continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, and America. The plates are unnumbered and undated; each is signed at bottom: "Marc. Gerar. inven. Phls Galle excud." The Berlin catalogue entry contains the imprint of "Mich. Snyders," presumably a successor publisher.
