DescriptionThe object is a multi-colored blown glass bowl created as part of the Macchia Series by Dale Chihuly. The interior of the bowl is a translucent, cloudy cream color, while the exterior is spiralled with thin blue lines that are spotted with a variety of colors including; deep opaque red and translucent coral, yellow, and green among others. Transluscent green spots with green inclusions on top with sppearance of green glitter. The rim of the bowl is bright yellow. A pontil mark is visible on the bottom and the signature of the artist, along with the year 1982 are engraved into the glass next to this mark.
