DescriptionPale green glass with molded lip and smooth pontil.
Obverse: Eagle with small head pointing left with a slender neck. On breast is shield with five vertical bars. Three thunderbolts (arrows) in each talon. Narrow pennant streams from beak above head with no text. Below eagle within large oval frame: "LOUISVILLE/ KY"
Reverse: Similar to obverse, but inscription in lower oval frame encases the words: "GLASS/ WORKS"
