DescriptionD ware ovoid squat jar; buff with red decoration of sprials and a couple wavy lines all over body; round base; flattened everted rim decorated with wavy lines; two lug handles; body cracked and surface heavily encrusted with white deposit which obscures much of the decoration. Small hole near base.
ProvenanceFrom Mesaid tomb 46 [M/46/10]. 1910: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession date: June 2, 2022)
