DescriptionThis is a rounded, octagonal plate, indented at the corners. A central shield cartouche with three dolphins and an inverted V-band is surmounted by an eagle with spread wings. The shield is flanked on either side with floral sprays. Underneath it, within an unfurled banner is a Latin inscription. The bowl of the plate is outlined with a chain-like design. The rim is decorated with motifs of flowers and insects and is outlined with a serpentine dotted line. The edge of the plate is outlined in gold. The arms represented is teh Sargent crest.
