DescriptionOne of a pair with 2001.37.1. Figural stem of a satyr holding up a socket festooned with oak and sunflower branches from which three candle branches with sockets extend.
Marks Struck under base with hallmarks (leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1744-5) and with maker's mark of John Hugh Le Sage (struck three times on no.4).
InscriptionsThe royal arms are those borne by George II or George III.
