DescriptionWide-mouth amorphous vessel with an overall oval shape and undulating edges and sides. The base color of the glass vessel is muted dark purple. Turquoise threading runs horizontally throughout the vessel, and at the mid-line the color changes gradually to a lustre ochre color. Some errant spots of lustre.
Provenance1982, purchased from the artist by Michael J. Bove III, Newport, Rhode Island; 1983, given by Michael J. Bove III to the MFA (Accession date: December 19, 1983).
