DescriptionVessel in the shape of an open-mouthed venus fly trap made of muted dark purple glass with ochre threading throughout. 2-inch band of bright blue lustre threading runs around the vessel just below the undulating lip. Edge of lip is rounded and is a silver lustre. Scattered outlying spots of lustre. Pontil mark visible on the bottom and has been ground down.
