DescriptionOpen egg-shaped vessel made of a soft transluscent dark grey glass. There are vertical grooves pressed into the lip. Dark grey and aubergine spots throughout, and a 2-inch band of turquoise threading at the lip of the vessel. Pontil mark is visible on the bottom.
Provenance1982, purchased from the artist by Michael J. Bove III, Newport, Rhode Island; 1983, given by Michael J. Bove III to the MFA (Accession date: December 7, 1983).
