DescriptionSampler with floral serpentine border on four sides enclosing verse, "What is your life?" with flowers, apple trees, and harp at bottom; worked in cross and counted satin stitches and inscribed "Harriet Coombs's work/July 20th 1837/in the eleventh year of her age." With original frame, labeled on back, "Stapleton Road Undertaking Establishment. J. Newth and Son, complete undertakers, #1, Colston Parade, Stapleton Road, Bristol."
