DescriptionBlack enamelled band with inscription in gold surrounded by two bands of raised floral design in gold. May be missing original hair compartment.
Marks English Hallmarks- bust, crown, 18, lion mask, lower case m, and initials in smaller stamp AJ(?) along inside band.
Inscriptions"John Lane, esq., died 17 Nov., 1826, aged 71" along inside. "J.A. / MEMORY / OS" in gold and black enamel.
