DescriptionCann with bulbous body, incised line under everted rim, cast molded and splayed foot. Center point on bottom. Cast double scroll handle, acanthus grip, has extensions for both joinings, disc at lower joinings, and scroll tip.
Marks Marked "[pellet]REVERE" to left of handle. Buhler mark b.
InscriptionsEngraved "I/ZE" on handle, the "I" on the seam; added in fancy script letters "EP" in slight wreath on front; weight "12-15" scratched on bottom.
ProvenanceMade for Zachariah(1701-1784) and Elizabeth (Waldron) Johonnot; said by the donor to have belonged to Judge William Parker of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
