DescriptionMug with straight tapering sides, molded rim with applied molding below, and quite wide baseband; hollow scroll handle with flat outer surface, slight grip on shoulder, pointed tip and small vent hole, disc on body tangent to baseband for lower joining. Large added spout has been removed.
Marks Buhler mark d at left of handle and on center bottom.
InscriptionsEngraved I/SR on bottom; the S and I perhaps over earlier initials.
ProvenanceEarly history of ownership unknown; given to the Museum in 1921 by the donors..
