DescriptionStonewall Jackson political Medal, 1860. OBV: Bust of Jackson in profile to the left. Around the edge "Lieut. General T. J. Jackson, Stonewall, Born 1821, Died 1863. Signed Caqué. F. REV: A wreath of corn and forget-me-nots entwined with a scroll on which are the names- "Fredericksburg, Shephardstown, Haper's Ferry, Sudley, Bull Run, Chantilly, Martinsburg, Antietam. The Wilderness". On a shield at the bottom "Deo vindici" behind which are stacked cannon, bayonets, swords, spears, and cannon balls. Enclosed by the wreath are the following names:- Kernstown, Frout Royal, Middletown, Winchester, Strasburg, Harrisonberg, Port Republic, Mechanicsville, Cold Harbour, White Oak Swamp, Malvern Hill, Cedar Mountain, Manassas." A five-pointed star above the name Bull Run. At the bottom in small letters a name which is erased and "Editeur".
