DescriptionIn 1815 the mint had no copper planchets to make large cents and none are believed to exist. This coin is an 1845 example that has had its 4 modified to appear as a 1. If it had actually been made in 1815 the obverse would be something between Reich's "Classic type" and the first Coronet type by Scot--not Gobrecht
