Description1 Dime, 1854. OBV: Liberty seated on rock super mare right, looking back, holding staff surmounted by cap in left hand, right hand resting on national shield, across which is thrown a riband inscribed with her name; date, large sized and curved, in exegue with three figures touching exegue. Surrounded by thirteen stars, arranged seven dex., one between head and pole, and five sin. Raised rim, straight milling. REV: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around ONE-DIME within laurel wreath. Raised rim, straight milling. Edges: wide straight milled across.
