OBV: Liberty seated on rock super mare right, looking back, holding staff surmounted by cap in left hand, right hand resting on national shield, across which is thrown a riband inscribed with her name; date, medium sized and curved, in exegue. Surrounded by thirteen stars, arranged seven dex., one between head and pole, and five sin. Raised rim, straight milling. REV: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around ONE-DIME within laurel wreath. Raised rim, straight milling. Edges: wide straight milled across.
