DescriptionThe chalk-like surface of this dough bowl is decorated with a red and brown terrace on the outside with a border and conventional animals decorate the inside.
ProvenanceProbably acquired in New Mexico by Clarence Pullen (b. 1850 - d. 1902), Boston; sold by Pullen to Charles Greely Loring (b. 1828 - d. 1902), Boston; 1893, gift of Charles Greely Loring to the MFA. (Accession Date: January 3, 1893)
