DescriptionIn the foreground a man apparently telling of some event that is taking place, while others stand around and listen. In the background soldiers killing a fleeing man.

Probably the left side (17.326 is the right) of a larger tapestry depicting a king seated on a throne under a canopy (either the welcoming of a messenger or a trial of justice).
