DescriptionWarp: cotton. Weft: wool and cotton, 16-28 per cm. Design: conventionalized birds closely covering surface, alternate rows, horizontally, face in opposite directions. Birds woven with deep pink, two shades of blue, olive drab, dark green, dark purple, and white (cotton) on yellow ground. Across the bottom band of deep pink, with conventionalized animals (monkeys) in same colors, edged with yellow tab fringe.
