DescriptionAn Italian Comedy group of the Doctor and Isabella, the girl in gilt-lined conical hat, producing a snake from her apron and menacing her companion, her coat edged with finely painted floral scrolls and her skirt with a trellis pattern in purple, green and gold; the Doctor seated on rockwork leaning back in fright, his left foot and arm raised, in wide hat, gilt ruff and with black edge to his white robes.
