DescriptionWall hanging consists of 4 1/4 loom widths of silk and cotton ikat, woven in blocks of brilliant color, with jagged edges. The colors appear to be repeated at random but they are in fact the same repeat, the panels being sewn together in random fashion, with the inclusion of several white horizontal, uneven lines, creating the effect of lightning. The design is rare and parts of the original glaze have remained.
