DescriptionThe Fujisan (also called Fujiyama in English-language sources) was a steam frigate built in New York CIty and purchased in 1862 by the Tokugawa shogunate. It became a warship of the Imperial Japanese Navy, was decommissioned in 1889 and scrapped in 1896.
