DescriptionDress of black silk satin, embroidered on front and around hips to back with gold and silver metallic threads in geometric, possibly African-inspired design. Straight cut, v-neck front and back bound with metallic ribbon. Tie closure at lower back, back open above, with straight hanging panel from shoulders covering back to hips (not original configuration). Top half of front of dress is lined with black chiffon. Has been altered in back and shortened.
