Wolcott (b. 1887 - d. 1911), Lawrence, MA; 1911, bequeathed by Wolcott to the White Fund of Lawrence, MA; November 13, 1912, placed on loan by the Trustees of the White Fund to the MFA.

NOTE: According to information provided by Durand-Ruel, the painting was sold to "G. O. Wolcott," but Edward O. Wolcott was almost certainly meant.
