DescriptionThe circular tray, hand wrought from a large sheet of chased copper, comprises a shallow well and raised rim decorated with an art nouveau floral motif. The abstract motif is repeated three times around the rim, connected with raised bands. The outer edge of the rim is rolled on the exterior. Hammering marks, especially noticeable in the well, give the tray a textured appearance. The deep brown patina has been restored.
Marks Marked on back of tray "ROKESLEY" within a rectangle.
