ProvenanceYuan Fuchen. Gao Shiqi (b. 1645 – d. 1704); to his grandson, Gao Zhishan; to his son (?), Gao Shiqian; four of the twenty sketches from the album given by Gao Shiqian and his brother to Wang Jun (b. 1698 – d. after 1775). Early 19th century, Bi Zhuyu. Early 19th century, Lu Yuqing, who restored the four sketches to the album. 19th century, Qu Yingshan. 19th century, He Shaoji (b. 1799 – d. 1873). By 1939, Tonying and Company, Inc., New York; 1939, sold by Tonying and Company to the MFA for $3,000 [see note]. (Accession Date: January 12, 1939)
