DescriptionThis perfect amulet is made of faience with a blue glaze. There is a rib on the back, as well as a transverse threading hole. The amulet represents the djed-pillar. The pillar, which symbolized the spinal column of the funerary god Osiris, was the hieroglyphic symbol for stability.
