Possibly a reprint from the original plate, but more likely a reproduction.
Written by hand along the lower edge: "Some of the first copper plates done in Japan about 1800 or a few years earlier, by Zenkichi. Given to me by Prof. Edw. S. Morse, Salem, Jan. 10, 1886, who had it from Ninagawa Noritani, a Jp. artist."
