DescriptionOval bombe-shaped body stands on four scroll feet with wavy rim. The sides and rim engraved with diaperwork. Scroll handle issues from an appplied shell. One side of the body engraved with an unidentified crest.

Maker's mark of Paul de Lamerie struck 4 times on base (thrice indistinctly), one foot also struck with French 20th-century import control mark.
InscriptionsThe crest of a stag trippant, pertains to a number of famlies.
