DescriptionThe body in the form of an auricular shell resting on the back of a dragon on a pedestal base with canted corners. A bearded mask is applied under the lip of the pitcher. The C-scroll handle in the form of a ribbed serpent chased with crescent-shaped scales.

Struck on rim by handle with hallmarks (leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1721-22) and with maker's mark of David Willaume I.
