DescriptionPlain hemispherical shape on a spreading molded foot. Molded rim, with engraved inscription around top. The front of the bowl is engraved with a coat of arms, helm, crest, and motto, all inside a scribed circle.

Struck under base with hallmarks (lion's head erased, Britannia, date letter for 1719-20) and with maker's mark of John East (Grimwade 525).
