DescriptionOval bombe body stands on four scroll feet headed by hounds and stags. Chased with spiral fluting under a gadrooned rim. Handles in the form of wyverns. Domed cover with wyvern head as finial. Engaved on each side with a coat or arms within the Order of the Bath, with helm, motto, and supporters.
Marks
Struck under base and on cover flange with hallmarks (leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1758-9) and with maker's mark of Thomas Heming.
InscriptionsThe arms are those of Warren with those of Revel on an escutcheon of pretence, as borne by Sir George Warren, a Knight of Bath.
