DescriptionCircular tray on a foot that unscrews. Both upper rim and rim of foot are gadrooned. The stem has a ribbed knop. Center engraved with royal arms of George I.
Marks The field struck with hallmarks (leopard's head, lion passant, date letter for 1724-5) and with maker's mark of Fleurant David (Grimwade no. 675), the foot with date letter and traces of two further defaced marks.
InscriptionsThe royal arms are those borne by George I.
