DescriptionOne of a pair of salvers (with 2001.27.2), raised on three scroll- and openwork bellflower feet. Rims with gadrooned edge with stylized shells at intervlas. Center engraved with a coat of arms.

The fields struck with hallmarks (lion's head erased, Britannia, date letter for 1713-14) and with maker's mark of Simon Pantin I (Grimwade no. 2124)
InscriptionsThe reverses numbered 1 and 2, and with scratch weights 74=7=0 and 74=12=0 respectively.
