DescriptionAfter Villamena's own painting, in the Czernin Gallery, Vienna. The print refers to the death of the sculptor Brutto Buono, employed by the dedicatee, Ciriaco Mattei, in a brawl between Italians and supporters of the Spanish faction (to which Buono belonged). The Villa Mattei in Rome and S. Giovanni in Laterano appear in the background.
