Description(New York: G. P. Putnam & Son; London: Sampson Low & Co., 1867) 36.6 cm; [107]-222 pp., plus extra title page and illustrations; 19th-century gilt-stamped red morocco (Matthews).

This is the so-called "Large Paper" issue, and has been extensively extra-illustrated. The extra title page dated 1877 presumably refers to the date when the volume was rebound with the illustrations; it is not a publication date.

This volume contains a frontispiece drawing with an unidentifiable signature, and a large drawing by John Gadsby Chapman illustrating a subject from Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream.

The MFA has another extra-illustrated copy of this title; see accession number 1961.364.
