These illustrations were first published in 1879. This edition carries the imprint of Houghton Mifflin (rather than Osgood) and is dated 1880 by OCLC. Its format is smaller than the first edition, and the plates have been slightly reduced (MFA copy of first ed.: BR181). The illustrations are printed by the Heliotype Printing Co. after Darley's pen drawings.
