DescriptionObverse: Bust of Valentinian to left, diademed, helmeted, cuirassed, and draped, with spear and shield. The shield is decorated with a "Virtus Augusti" scene, the emperor riding to right over a fallen barbarian.

Reverse: Victoria seated left, writing on a shield inscribed VOT/V/MVLT/X. A putto stands at left, holding shield.
