DescriptionFigural group of two women seated on yellow, stepped base. Between them is a blue buddha atop a brown platform. Woman on left has blonde hair and a turquoise dress. Woman on right has brown hair and rust-colored dress. Her right arm draped around the shoulder of buddha and left hand raised to her mouth. Underside glazed in mottled brown and yellow. Based on a 1926 etching and aquatint, "Confidence," or after the oil painting, "Les Confidences," by Louis Icart.
