DescriptionA pair of lion protomes with carefully-defined heads represented as chewing on a ball. The circular object was part of a handle or, more likely, a large ceremonial bracelet. The ends are flat, and the rest of the object was made separately (in another material ?). One end has a vertical tang, the opposite a shallow groove. Dark green and reddish patina.
