DescriptionOne of two plates (see 69.390). Hexagonal sided, white ground. In center is coat of arms of Sargent in shield shape showing three fishes and black chevron. Spread-winged orange bird at top. Scroll inscribed NEC QUAERERE HONOREM NEC PERNERE. Surrounded by delicate flowers. Around edge is scallop of red beading with decoration of red and purple flowers alternating with various insects. Gold twist design around edge of bowl.
