smoking incense burners (on saucer) painted in purple and gold which alternate with oval reserves containing military trophies in gold on
a platinum ground. Bordering the lilac ground at top and bottom is a band of pearls on a red and yellow striped ground. A garland of
polychrome flowers decorates the white ground above the foot of the cup and in the well of the saucer. the center of the well is painted
with a whorl medallion in black and gold on a pale blue ground within a circle of leaves and berries.
