Carteromaco is a pseudonym for Forteguerri. The frontispiece is unsigned but the title-page vignette and the thirty headpieces to the cantos are all signed by various engravers after drawings by Ghedini. The initials and tailpiece vignettes are unsigned also. Pitteri printed a second edition in 1755.
