Description(Venice: Teodoro Viero for Giovanni Battista Albrizzi, 1760) Oblong folio; 69 leaves; contemporary blind- and gilt-stamped brown calf (tan cloth box, brown calf spine).

Two versions of a series of figural studies after drawings by Piazzetta.

First edition, containing a repeated series of figural studies after drawings by Piazzetta. The first, primarily line, version of the Piazzetta subjects was etched by Bartolozzi; the second more tonal version is by Pitteri. Included on the verso of the second leaf of the "Memorie" is a small etched portrait by Piazzetta, dated 1738, often taken to be a self-portrait. The Viero attribution as printer is taken from RLIN online cataloguing information.

Plate XI is engraved after a drawing in the MFA collection (1999.6).
