Obverse: Profile bust of Julius II looking to proper left, bald on top and wearing a collar with two figural depictions and a medal (consisting of possibly a frontal face) around neck; inscribed at edge "·IVVLIVS·II·LIGVR· ·P·M·".
Reverse: Saints Peter and Andrew in a boat at sea, saint at proper left is rowing and saint at proper right is fishing or attacking a monster; inscribed at edge in band "·NAVIS·AETERNAE·SALVIS".
