「櫻八題 川越之櫻」
The most famous Buddhist temple in the city of
Kawagoe, not far from Tokyo, is the Kita-in, which
enjoyed the patronage of the Tokugawa shoguns
during the Edo period. The temple’s historic buildings
include structures originally from Edo Castle, donated
by the Tokugawa family.
