DescriptionA pair of abutted spheres showing the eastern and western hemispheres as they appeared between Cook's voyages and the Louisiana Purchase (1769-1803). Title is placed at the center top, the directional star at the center bottom. Each country and its colonies are delineated in a particular color. Soiled; some worn yarns; edges of ground partially frayed. Stitches: couching, running, stem.
