Description(London: 1893 or later) 26.6 cm; [1 f., plus 8 plates, unbound]; original publisher's half brown cloth portfolio, printed brown paper boards.
Portfolio of eight photogravures of illustrations by Louis Chalon to the Decameron, titled on the listing folio as "Additional Plates." Chalon illustrated several editions of the Decameron, the earliest (according to OCLC) being an 1893 London edition published by Lawrence and Bullen; the next was a 1903 London edition by A. H. Bullen. Several others followed through 1947, with more recent reprints. It is not know which edition this "additional" group accompanied. They seem to illustrate several of the racier stories.
