Illustrations of military history. First edition, illustrated with four color [photomechanical?] lithographs and numerous photomechanical relief prints. In the "noms des artistes qui ont participé" in the book are included Ferdinandus as the "dessinateur"; Detaille, Berne-Bellecour, Le Blant, and Baugniès are listed as "peintres." Lemercier and Nordmann are cited as chromistes, and Gillot as graveur.
